Every week at the Chic HQ, we kick off our Monday morning meeting with a blended smoothie. Sometimes we toss any and everything into the blender but sometimes we get strategic. I wanted to blend up something that was good for me but also had amazing benefits for my skin, so we concocted this delicious Beauty Smoothie For Glowing Skin. ~Brandee
As with any fruit, it’s best to buy in season, so that makes peaches perfect for this smoothie. We used yellow peaches for this recipe but feel free to try white or donut peaches to mix things up.
Filled with ripe bananas and light and creamy almond milk, this beauty smoothie is loaded with Vitamin A and C which helps boost the production of collagen. The fresh spinach is also a wonderful addition and is packed with nutrients and antioxidants that keep skin clear and healthy. If you’d like to sweeten it a bit, add pineapple for an extra creamy smoothie. Pre-pack your smoothies (see how we did it here) to get ready for the week. - 2 cups ice
- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 2 bananas, sliced
- handful baby spinach leaves
- 1/2 to 1 cup almond milk
- Blend everything together on high in a blender. Add more or less almond milk, depending on how thick or thin your like your smoothies! Serve with a straw and a garnish of fresh peach slices. Enjoy!
