Mason Jar Cocktail Kits? Yes ma’am we sure did!
The thing is, Mother’s Day is minutes away and chances are, if you’re the mother of young kiddos you’re going to get cute things. You’re going to get handmade preciousness from pre-school. You’re going to get a rainbow colored puffin from clay class. You’re going to get an adorable necklace that you precious partner found for you on Etsy. It’s going to be awesome!
But at the end of the day, if you’re a mother of young kiddos, or medium-aged kiddos or even adult children… what you probably need is a drink! Er, I mean, you need encouragement from your tribe… and also, you need a drink!
These little mason jar cocktail kits make the perfect gift to give your friends. They’re a way to let your friends know you’re thinking about them. We made ours with Moscow mule ingredients but I’ve also seen this with bloody Mary mix-ins and it was just as cute. Consider making this fun gift for your favorite mom– or whoever — as a special surprise. Cheers!
Not into alcohol? Cool, make these tumbler gift kits instead!
Start by placing a bit of paper grass in a large mason jar.
Then place a small bottle of vodka and a small bottle of ginger beer inside. Both of these are crucial Moscow Mule ingredients.
Then fill up small plastic containers with lime juice and simple syrup. You can find both the simple syrup and lime juice at the store! The little containers can be found at any craft store in their art section!
Those are all the ingredients needed for the Moscow Mule, so all you need to do is add ice and mix right in the mason jar! Create cute little tags with one side that says MOSCOW MULE and the other side with the ingredients in the jar!
Tie the top of the jars with string, ribbon or twine and then hang the tag with a small cute clothespin.
Then just hand the mason jar cocktail kits out as gifts or party favors and let people make their own cocktails at home! It’s convenient, fun and cute!
