It’s Fall, y’all!! Autumn is upon us and it’s MY FAVORITE SEASON… even if we don’t actually get any fall whether here in LA. But even without the crisp weather, how can you not love a season that involves adding pumpkin spice to everything?! Any new season provides an awesome opportunity to add stylish new pieces to your closet so I’ve teamed up with JCPenney to share some cute pieces you can wear to drop off the kids, at lunch with your girlfriends and even to church on Sunday. Casual – The Graphic T-Shirt doesn’t just say cool girl, it spells it! This piece instantly gives off an easygoing vibe which makes it the perfect addition to take you from Summer to Fall. For daytime, I pair it with some distressed denim and sneakers for dropping the kids off at school and running errands around town. Also, who are we kidding? This thing is perfect for my “weekend” look of workout pants… even if I don’t actually get a workout in!
Fancy It Up- For funzies, I like to match my graphic t-shirt with my boyfriend jeans and a fun pair of heels. Add some hoop earrings and a clutch and you’re ready for dinner with your girlfriends.
Casual – Everyone pretty much knows that I live in Dark Denim! It’s the perfect way to look put together, it goes with EVERYTHING, and added bonus– it’s slimming! For a coffee date with the girls, layer a cardigan and a colorful cross body bag for a relaxed pulled together look.
Fancy It Up– How about church on Sunday? If your congregation is as casual as mine then dark denim is the perfect outfit base. I like to pair mine with a button down shirt and grandpa style cardigan and a great pair of shoes.
Casual – My favorite part of fall is that it’s finally jacket weather! There’s no easier way to look instantly chic then by adding a leather jacket. I know this because I was at the airport last week and I saw a gal rocking her leather jacket and I had super duper jacket envy. Imagine my joy when I found the exact same look at JC Penney!
