It all started with a family selfie.

If you’ve looked at our 2014 Holiday Party or our 2015 Holiday party then you know that we’re already starting at a different place. Typically we go child free for our annual shindig but this year the boys really wanted to come and so we decided to let them hang out with the grown ups for the evening.

It ended up being an awesome night and we had so much stinking fun with this year’s theme: Easy Like Christmas Morning. Check it out!

A good entryway piece is a must for every party I throw. I think it sets the tone for your guests and tells them what to expect. For this year’s entryway piece we did a wall with stockings. Inside the stockings were “Naughty” and “Nice” pins and guests had to choose a pin and wear it around.

Unsurprisingly, most people chose the “naughty” pin. 😉

To see the inside of my living room all decorated for the holidays check out this post here. But for the outside this year we started under a canopy of twinkle lights that all wrapped around this green chandelier. So pretty!

We created tons of seating vignettes for guests to sit out. This one was below another small canopy but the furniture is just the couches from my back patio all decked with matching pillows and scarves.

We put a platform over the upper lawn and added carpet so it would feel like a living room. Also adding to that vibe? The lounge seating and little fireplace with greenery.

I really loved the rustic reclaimed bars with pom pom garlands.

The backbars were actually made out of old ladders and the glassware was vintage and funky and as festive as everything else.

Signature drinks are an absolute must at our holiday party! My favorite this year was the Mele Kalikimaka — which was a delicious libation. Want to try something similar? Give this cocktail recipe a try!

Last year we did a trail mix bar and it was a massive hit! Since this year’s menu was themed to breakfast I thought it would be fun to do a cereal mix bar! Our kids were in heaven– and so were most of the adults!

Once again our caterer knocked it out of the park! The theme was breakfast and we had little breakfast sandwiches on homemade biscuits, chicken and waffles, red velvet pancakes with bacon, chilaquiles and of course mini biscuits and gravy!

For dessert we had mini donuts in hot chocolate!

The Photo Booth was a massive hit again this year. The theme was awkward family photos so we had ugly Christmas sweaters and hilarious props. I think Jackson and Sawyer took about 9,000 photos!

Also, since we’ve partnered with Keurig® so much this year we were able to bring them into our party too! And guys, not to be weird, but I felt pretty legit to have one of our partners at our personal holiday party! The set up was so cute too.

Keurig® was so generous to show up for all our caffeine dreams at the party and they’re letting me giveaway the Keurig® K55 brewer we used to one of you guys!!
