Instructions
Frost each of the cupcakes simply, with vanilla frosting. Spread a thin layer of frosting onto each cookie, so that the fondant has something to stick to.
Roll out the yellow fondant on a surface that has been dusted lightly with cornstarch or powdered sugar. Once it's about ΒΌ of an inch thick, cut out into 12 circles, the same diameter as the sugar cookies. Place each yellow fondant circle on top of the iced cookies. Then roll out the other fondant colors in the same way and cut out into circles. Cut a rectangle in the center of each circle, that's for the eyes. Dab the yellow fondant (on top of the cookies) with a bit of water. That's so the colored fondant can stick to the yellow fondant.
Using the black and white icing pens, make eyes and eyebrows in the opening of each fondant cookie. Place the cookie on top of the frosted cupcakes. Enjoy!
