Wild Kratts Party Punch
A fun and easy punch for kid's birthday parties. The ice cubes are made by freezing plastic bugs in ice cube trays and then stirred into green punch, to make it look like bugs are floating. Kid's will love it!
- 1/2 cup super fine granulated sugar
- 2 quarts water
- 1 can limeade frozen concentrate thawed
- 4 cups pineapple juice
- 1 1 liter bottle ginger ale
- 2 0.13-ounce lime-flavored unsweetened drink mix (such as Kool-Aid) (or a couple drops green food coloring)
- bug ice or just plain ice
Make ice cubes the night before, or several days in advance. Place small plastic bugs, from a craft store, in ice cube trays, fill with water and then freeze. Keep them in the freezer until ready to use.
To make punch, pour the sugar into a large punch bowl. Stir in the water, limeade, pineapple juice, ginger ale and lime drink mix (or food coloring). Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Pour the ice into the punch and serve chilled.
