Who doesn’t love a colorful and edible party favor??… These ‘Pop Favors’ are a hit for children of any age. Your “little” guests will leave your kid’s birthday party with a sweet treat, personalized note and fond memory of the day’s festivities. See how we took a generic store bought item, and turned it into a thoughtful themed party favor.
Supplies:
Rainbow ‘Whirly Pops’
Cellophane bags
Twine
Card-stock paper (white & green)
Mini wiggly eyes
Sharpie (black)
Glue
Scissors
Hole punch
Step-by-Step:
To create the cloud tags, I used this pre-made cloud template above. Copy it (or Drag it) over to a word document and duplicate it eight times. Print on white and colored card-stock paper. Cut them out.
With a little glue, some ‘wiggly’ eyes, a sharpie pen, and some imagination – create your customized tags. I created a variety of happy faces on the white card-stock paper, and some ‘sweet’ notes on the green.
Pair up a white and green cloud, stack them on top of eachother, and create a hole in the corner with your trusty hole punch.
Gently unwrap the original packaging and slide on a fresh cellophane bag. Note: I had to trim my bags to fit the size of this sucker.
Why repackage? – Repackaging a store bought item makes it feel homemade regardless if it is. It shows guests that you took the time to create something special for them. Plus, when you take off a manufacturers’ logo, it looks and feels more charming.
Using twine, tie off the cellophane bag and add your stacked cloud tag (white on top of green).
