Rachel Hollis The Chic Site Tiny Prints Holiday Cards

The holidays are going to be here in a second and as I start to prepare for another year of holiday cards I’ve been thinking a lot of exactly what I want to say and how I want them to look. This has been on my mind a lot lately because our holiday card— which is always such a representation of our family— is going to need to be totally customized and unique. Why? Well, because our family is currently getting customized to be totally unique!

As many of you know we’ve been going through our adoption journey for almost three and a half years now. As we move into this final stage where we are so so so close to meeting our daughter for the first time we are an excited jumble of nerves. Excited because, oh my gosh guys we have been dreaming of this baby girl for years! And nervous because well (a million reasons, but also) we’re adopting through the foster care system, which can have tons of back and forth before it’s permanent. That being said, we have agreed to love whatever baby we get regardless of whether or not she stays for a week or a year or forever. In doing so, she’ll be a member of our family for however long we’re blessed to have her and that’s something to be celebrated. It will fundamentally change the structure of our family and that’s something to be celebrated too.

Tiny Prints Holiday Cards

So… Holiday Cards!

This year I thought it would be fun to do something to acknowledge this big exciting change that’s headed our way and I teamed up with Tiny Prints to create my own custom holiday / adoption / foster care / we’ve got big ole news cards! Ok, so yes that’s probably not a real thing but the awesome part about creating custom holiday products is that anything you can dream up can be your real thing! I’ve been using Tiny Prints for years because their website is so easy to use and the quality of their product is always gorgeous. I used Tiny Prints to create our holiday adoption cards which aren’t even technically holiday cards. But that’s the glory of custom creation, you get to decide what they’ll look like by choosing everything from fonts to colors to whether or not your edges are rounded or square.  Plus they have about five billion other options to choose from so no matter what you’re style is you’re going to find something you love.
