Spicy Ginger Iced Tea
Spicy Ginger Iced Tea is refreshing and super easy to make for the summer. Fresh ginger, paprika, mint and cucumber are combined with iced tea.
- 4 tea bags
- 8 cups hot water
- 2 inches fresh ginger root peeled and sliced
- 1 to 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- fresh cucumber slices
- fresh mint
- ice
Pour the water over the tea bags and fresh ginger slices in a large pitcher. Allow to steep for about 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove the tea bags and ginger. Add in as much or as little of the cayenne pepper as you'd like. Chill in the fridge for several hours or until ready to serve.
Fill glasses with lots of ice, and garnish with a few slices of fresh cucumber and mint leaves. Enjoy!
