how to use leftover halloween candy in a dessert

I don’t know about you, but we always have a bunch of Halloween candy leftover, and then it’s just laying around the house waiting to be eaten. Why not turn it into a dessert? This leftover halloween candy apple salad is the perfect treat to take those mini chocolate bars and combine it with chopped apples, pudding and whipped cream! It’s so easy to make as well!

Make the instant vanilla pudding by whisking together the milk, and vanilla pudding mix. Whisk until completely combined. Then allow to chill for about 10 minutes to firm up a bit.

Fold in the thawed frozen whipped topping, making sure to not over mix the two ingredients because it’ll deflate the whipped topping.

Add the chopped apples and then toss to combine.

Divide half of the mixture between four individual dishes. Then top with a few of the candy bar pieces. I used a variety of bite sized pieces.

Then top with the remaining pudding apple mixture on top, dividing the remaining mixture between the four dishes. Finish it off with a few more pieces of candy bars.

You can decide whichever candy to add to it. If you don’t have leftover halloween candy, then just buy regular sized candy bars and cut them into bite sized pieces. Give this dessert a try this weekend after Halloween!
