I started slathering oil on my face when oil slathering wasn’t cool.

Since natural beauty oils have been used since way back in the day (think ancient Egypt) I went on my very own modern day oil hunt six years ago to see what all the fuss was about. Treasure in hand I made the rookie mistake of dispensing the entire eyedropper of oil onto my face. When it never absorbed and I looked like a plate of melted butter, I thought…this is not for me!

With a new technique (just two drops will do) and many decadent beauty oils later, I’m here to tell you, I’ve struck liquid gold. My skin is even, hydrated and I no longer suffer from product related breakouts. Here are a few of my favorites, what they do, and how to use them. Remember, switching to beauty oils will take some getting used to, but after a week, I bet you’ll never go back. ~Brandee

Brandee’s Chic Tip: Want to know how much is enough? Use two drops of oil for your face, 10 to 15 for your hair and a quarter size when using an all over moisturizer. If it doesn’t begin to absorb after 5 minutes, cut back on the amount. Have questions about the right oil for you? I’ve got tons of suggestions! Ask away!
