Sometimes I pry myself away from going to jeans every day. It’s a rare thing, but it does happen. If you’re like me, you have some sort of combination in your closet of flare, mid-rise, skinny and bootcut. Maybe some light and dark washes with a few distressed in between. I’m so wrapped up in traditional jeans, I haven’t focused on all the other ways to wear the look. So here are 9 super chic ways to do denim..hopefully you’ll be as inspired as I am to try something new or recycle an old piece that’s been hiding in the back of your closet. ~Brandee
Denim Jacket
I love the versatility of a jean jacket. Whether a dark or light wash, the softer the better.
Denim Skirt
I like the length of this denim skirt. And the roughed up bits are a edgy contrast to the heels and clutch.
Denim Shorts
Usually I see denim shorty shorts on the racks and keep walking. But this length is perfect and the light wash can be dressed up or down.
Denim Vest
Light denim pairs well with grey tees and white jeans. This look would also work well with a maxi skirt and wedges.
Denim Bag
We are big fans on back packs at The Chic HQ (check out some favorites here). This denim bag is durable and perfect for the summer.
Denim Dress
I love the way this denim dress is paired with a bootie. To dress it down, Chucks would be cute.
Double Denim
I remember the first time I saw denim on denim in Europe and wondered if it would catch on in the US. Those Brits are so fancy.
Denim Hat
I’m a huge fan of baseball hats and a denim one is a great neutral for casual weekends.
Denim Overall
If I had predicted this look would be so cute, I would have saved my denim overalls from middle school.
