I’ve dreamed about having my own clothing line for a while now. Does that sound weird? Maybe. But every time I’d go to the store and look for something specific and I couldn’t find it I’d think, well someday maybe somebody will give me a chance to pull together my own collection. I know it sounds like a lofty dream, but guys, all I do is lofty dreams!

So that was my idea and here we are! Today marks the start of my partnership with Cents of Style on a line of accessories, tops, jackets and shoes. The collection is called Life Actually. It’s a little play on the title of my favorite holiday movie but also it describes what I wanted to produce. Pieces for real life! Look, I love glam as much as the next girl and gorgeous dresses and high heels are fabulous for special occasions. But for real life? For school drop offs and work and soccer games and Sunday dinner… I need some real life clothes that an actual woman would want to wear.
Things like the perfect lightweight chambray top
Or the softest, prettiest scarves you’ve ever seen!
There’s a lightweight jacket that comes in two colors and is totally cutie for layering.
And the prettiest jewelry that’s totally affordable!
Lastly, there are several pieces that we designed ourselves at Chic HQ. Like the Show Up t-shirt based on this post. I love these pieces the most because I feel like our readers will totally understand why they’re special.
