To Market, To Market

To Market, To Market

When we set out to remodel our house we knew that the hardest part would be the construction of the kitchen. Anyone who’s ever lived through a kitchen remodel knows the horrors: eating tons of takeout, not having a sink, making coffee in the bathroom… add in toddlers and it’s a total nightmare! The nightmare though, is worth it because during that project you get to create your dream kitchen.

I spent hours tearing pages out of magazines so I could show the architect/contractor/random-strangers-on-the-street my vision for the perfect place to make dinner. The kitchen was all white with a butcher-block island and dark hardwood floors. I wanted a farmhouse sink and large windows and a cozy table in the corner. I had all sorts of visions for my kitchen but the center of that dream, without question, was my Wolf range.

My Wolf Range

Ok, I know what you’re thinking… “wait a minute, this post is promoting a contest for Wolf so you’re only saying you like their product in an effort for seamless integration!” Not true, dear readers! The very, very first thing we bought for our house wasn’t a fridge or a rug for the bathroom or a doormat for the front porch, it was my Wolf range. I don’t mean to sound obnoxious, it’s not like I run around daily buying high-end kitchen appliances. It’s just that I have ALWAYS wanted a Wolf range, and I knew without a doubt that we would ABSOLUTELY run out of money while remodeling… anyone who’s ever remodeled knows what I’m talking about. So before our kitchen even had walls we bought the four-burner range with the griddle and the grill and the double oven and the red knobs (secretly one of my favorite features) and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. The Wolf is my version of my husband’s fancy sports car… both have all the bells and whistles, but my  luxury purchase comes with a built in thermometer probe and can create pancakes for three boys at a moments notice!

Because I’m such a HUGE Wolf fan, I’m so excited to host a giveaway in conjunction with Sub-Zero and Wolf’s 10th Kitchen Design contest!
