We spend approximately three to four hours each week at soccer practice and soccer games which is why I never unpack my soccer bag. I just keep it in the trunk so it’s ready to go when I need it. When Vaseline approached me about working on a post for their new Intensive Care Advanced Repair Spray Moisturizer I knew exactly how it was going to play a part in my life… as the lotion in my soccer bag!
If you remember my beach bag post then you might notice that I’m using that same tote bag… no reason not too! Just swap it out with the essentials and you’re ready to go. What are my soccer bag essentials? Check it out!
Snacks – I always have the two other boys at both soccer practice and soccer games and inevitably they’ll ask for a snack. I replenish my bag constantly with juice boxes and non-perishables snacks.
Hats – I keep a ball cap for myself and the other kiddos so we’re all set for the sunny days.
Scarf – The fall is always tricky and layers are key. Just to be safe I keep a warm scarf in my bag in case it gets chilly. This also works as a super hero cape, a blanket or a tug-o-war rope in a pinch!
Vaseline’s Spray Moisturizer – I stash lotion almost everywhere because my hands are constantly dried out, but since my bag is tossed around and packed with stuff I worry about regular lotion getting smashed and making a mess. This Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair is fast to apply and quick to dry and the spray bottle means I don’t run the risk of making a mess. It leaves skin feeling instantly soft – not sticky or greasy — for under $8!
Refillable Water Bottle – I carry one for each of us to every practice and game.
Toys – Ford is the hardest to wrangle at soccer practice. It’s a big open park and if I’m on my own with him it’s hard to watch Sawyer play and keep Ford from running wild at the same time. The easiest thing to do is make sure I have plenty of little toys to keep him busy while I get to keep an eye on the game.
