If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the ever-growing list of wellness trends, you’re not alone. It seems like every week there’s a new “must-try” supplement, superfood, or workout program. This year, we decided to lean in and give a few wellness trends a fair shot—and we’re excited to share the ones that actually made a difference!
So whether you’re just dipping your toes into a healthier lifestyle or you’re deep in the wellness game, here are five trends we’ve personally tried in 2025—no gimmicks, just honest results.
1. Creatine in a Protein Shake? Yes, Please.

Let’s start with a wellness trend that might sound a little gym bro, but stick with us: creatine. Rachel shared on the podcast how she’s been adding five milligrams of creatine to her morning protein shake, and guess what? It’s been a game changer. She didn’t bulk up or bloat like she feared. Instead, she’s feeling stronger, more energized, and less wiped after long runs and strength sessions. If you’re looking for that extra edge in your workouts, this might be it.
2. Sea Moss for Gut Health and So Much More
Inspired by a chat with Miranda Kerr (yes, that Miranda Kerr), we tried adding Irish sea moss to our daily routines. Three tablespoons a day, and we’re not gonna lie—the taste is… an acquired one. But since the effects are better gut health, improved skin, muscle recovery, and even support for your thyroid, we’re all in. Pro tip: Mix it into a smoothie with some pineapple juice and thank us later.
3. Cardio Is Cool Again

Resistance training is one wellness trend that has taken the world by storm these past few years—and for good reason!. While we’re still all about it (it’s amazing), this year we brought cardio back into the mix—think hiking, cycling, dance classes, or even power walking. Not for punishment, but for joy, energy, and heart health. And the best part? It actually enhances strength gains when paired with weight training. Let’s hear it for balance!
4. Prebiotic Sodas > Traditional Sodas
I haven’t touched soda (or pop, if you’re from the Midwest like me) in years. But when brands like Olipop and Poppi started showing up everywhere, I got curious. These prebiotic sodas have only four to five grams of sugar per can (compared to 35–40 in a regular soda!), they taste great, and they actually support your gut health. If you’re trying to cut back on sugar or ditch the soda habit, this is the swap you didn’t know you needed, but of course, you can have too much of anything. So try this health trend in moderation as a sweet treat after a long day.
5. Protein Within 30 Minutes of Waking

This one’s simple but powerful rule that Rachel swears by: getting protein in within 30 minutes of waking up. It helps regulate blood sugar, keeps energy stable, and kickstarts your metabolism. Whether it’s eggs, a smoothie, or Greek yogurt with chia seeds—this one small shift makes a big difference.
Wellness doesn’t have to be extreme to be effective. Sometimes it’s the small, consistent changes—like a scoop of creatine, a daily sea moss routine, or swapping your soda—that help us feel more energized, grounded, and strong. Try what works for you, skip what doesn’t, and remember: the goal is never perfection—it’s progress. Let’s keep showing up for ourselves, one trend at a time.
