Frozen Mojitos are the flavors you love in your favorite cocktail: sugary sweet, fresh mint, a kick of lime but they’re all blended up with ice to be extra delicious!
This summer the name of the game is blended drinks! OK, true, it’s not like the idea of blended drinks is anything new but the twist in this case is that we’re blending up cocktails that don’t usual see the inside of a blender! This creation is so light and refreshing and I honestly think it’s the most delicious drink we’ve ever put up on the site.
Shhh… don’t tell the jalapeño strawberry margaritas or the Moscow mules, I don’t want to hurt their feelings!
Fill a blender with lots of ice, and add the freshly squeezed lime juice along with the rum and mint.
Mojitos need a bit of sweetness to cut the tartness from the lime juice and the punch from the rum. So you can add either simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar cooked until the sugar has dissolved) or you an just use agave syrup!
Place the lid on and blend until smooth. Then pour your blended frozen mojitos into short cocktail glasses.
Garnish the cocktails with a slice of lime and a sprig of fresh mint for that classic mojito look!
These are great as is, but feel free to customize them anyway you’d like. Try adding fresh berries, like raspberries, strawberries or blueberries to change up their flavor.
I like making a big batch of these and having the pitcher in the fridge. Then you can just serve a crowd. It’s perfect for parties.
