I like to think I can make just about anything stylish or fancy. Case and point… A Paper Table Runner made out of Paper Plates! Don’t believe me? Check out how I set this table for a recent dinner party.
I had seen someone in a magazine make a runner out of different sized paper doilies and I thought… well surely I can do that with paper plates, right? The cool part about this is that it doesn’t require glue or tape or skill or much effort at all!
I chose a charcoal gray tablecloth for a more masculine feel and then laid the plates out in an asymmetrical line down the center of the table. I thought at first I might top the runner with flowers or greenery but I loved how modern it felt as-is.
I created a Pocket Fold Napkin in a matching hue and slipped in a handwritten menu card. Each napkin was accented with a little greenery from the backyard for a pop of fresh color.
So what do you think readers, do you like the paper table runner? Would you make one out of paper plates for your own party or is it just too weird? Comment below and tell me what you think. ~Rachel
